In order to understand some of the content on the Teenotes web site, it is important to know what we believe and the standards to which we adhere. Please read our Doctrinal Statement below.

 

1)   We Believe the Bible is the perfect Word of God. It is without error from beginning to end. God has preserved His Bible in many languages and it is exactly accurate in the King James Version for all English speaking people.  We do not trust in visions, dreams or tongues. The Bible is our sole Authority for faith and practice.

2)  We believe that salvation is provided by Jesus Christ and Him alone. It is through his death, burial and resurrection that men are saved from sin. It is the blood of Jesus that cleanses us from all sin. Works and religion cannot save in anyway. The gospel is the power of God unto Salvation. Furthermore, we believe that Christ died for all men and upon the conviction of the Holy Spirit, the repentance of the heart and the confession of the mouth men are Born-Again of God's Spirit.  We reject such doctrines as baptismal regeneration, the keeping of the sacraments and are adamantly opposed to all tenets of Calvinism.

  3)   We believe in the eternal salvation of all believers. Once a person trusts in Christ, they are forever kept by the power of God and can never be lost. Salvation is truly everlasting life. However, those who have trusted Christ are His and will obey Him and His Word.  We do not believe a person can live any way they so desire and be saved. The Bible dogmatically declares that a person will be a new creature in Christ.

4)     We oppose those who attack and change the Bible and it's teachings. We are an Independent Baptist ministry that stands for the truths of God's Word. We are strictly fundamental and stress the importance of sound doctrine.  We are separatists and do not believe in "holding hands" nor cooperating with Modernism and Liberalism.

  5)     We believe and affirm that it is God who calls and equips men for the gospel ministry. The call to preach the Gospel is the highest and holiest calling in any man's life. God does not call the qualified, rather He qualifies the one He calls.

6)  We believe in the Bible doctrine of the Trinity. We believe in one God, co-existing in three persons: The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. It is the father who planned our salvation, his Son Jesus who provided our forgiveness and the Spirit of God who seals our state before God. Furthermore, at the moment of salvation we receive all of God's Spirit. We do not get more of God, rather we must surrender more of ourselves to him on a daily basis.

7)  We believe that the Local New Testament Church is God's ordained institution. It is through individual bodies of believers that the Great Commission is carried on throughout the world.

SHE THOUGHT HERSELF MORE MIGHTY THAN THE WORLD HAD EVER KNOWN

HER FACE IS MARRED, HER FLAG IS BURNED,SHE WONDERS WHAT WENT WRONG

GOD’S MIGHTY HAND OF JUDGEMENT HAS HUSHED HER HAUGHTY SONG

BUT WAIT! I SEE IT NOW, WHERE THE HORIZON GRIPS THE SKIES

GOD CALLS HER HOME TO WASH HER FACE AND DRY HER TEARY EYES

HE’S SENT HIS WORD THROUGHOUT THE LAND; PROCLAIM IT FAR AND NEAR!

REVIVAL STARTS IN OUR OWN HEARTS, AND SPREADS TO ALL THAT WE HOLD DEAR

THERE’S AN AMERICA I LOVE TODAY THAT CAN BE GREAT AGAIN

WE MUST TURN HER EYES TOWARD HEAVEN TO HONOR GOD INSTEAD OF MEN
